Good Day! Hope you are having a lovely week. Last night I went out to dinner with my mother (@sjagoe). We went to a brand new establishment called the Bonfire Grill which opened a few weeks ago. The Bonfire Grille is within walking distance to the beach and the restaurant has a great summertime atmosphere. I decided to make this post to bring attention to the @STEEMFoodTours contest that I hold on a weekly basis. STEEM Food Tours rewards users for posting restaurant reviews to the STEEM blockchain. Beer

We started off with some drinks and a crab-cake. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the crab-cake, but it was delicious. Lumps of blue crab meat encrusted with potato and served with a remoulade. Below is a picture of the draft Double IPA I ordered which came from Bad Sons Beer Co. It was served in a handled mason jar.

Wings

After the crab-cake we ordered another appetizer. This time we got a 6 piece set of Buffalo Gorgonzola Chicken Wings. @sjagoe does not eat spicy things, so these babies were all for me. They were hands down some of the best chicken wings I've had in town. The Bonfire Grille first brines the wings, then they grill them before flash frying and smothering with sauce. It's a process that yields some deliciously high quality wings. They were crispy, meaty and lathered with a tasty sauce.

Tacos

As a main dish, I ordered the Pan-Seared Cod Tacos. They were served in three corn tortillas and topped with purple slaw, pico de gallo and fresh avocado. It came alongside some Mexican rice pilaf and a tray of french fries. The fish was fresh, white and flaky. Each taco contained a nice chunk of filet. They were some good fish tacos.

My mother @sjagoe ordered the Lobster Roll. It came with a pair of rolls, stuffed with warm buttery lobster meat. It was served with a french fries and a side salad. It definitely looked like a nice plate of food.

Overall

We were completely stuffed after our meal, so we decided to skip the dessert (although the menu looked amazing!). Overall the food was delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and restaurant decor gave off an awesome summery beach vibe. I was very happy with my first experience at the Bonfire Grille and I can't wait to go back and explore the menu a bit more.
