yep, time to clear house so to speak, i’m desperate to be the #1 cinemagraph and gif animator on steemit. i love making them and i need to take my game to the next level. currently i’m using a 720p capable canon ixus 200 is and while it’s been a work horse she’s got damaged along the way - it’s time i replaced her with a nice 4k model.

at first i thought about maybe a smartphone and looked at the iPhone SE because of the pricing and the fact i can use as a multi function device as well as recording videos on it, i also looked at the iPhone 7 plus and the new google pixel phones but both are out of my sight right now, i need to invest in a little cheaper.

i’ve been looking at some sony camcorders, i love sony and i think i’ve found a 4k one that will fit the purpose for around £500 (gbp) from amazon, i’ll probably resize down from 4k to the native sizing on steemit but i want that super sharp clarity and i might as well go for a consumer camera of that kind of quality so i can make video blogs on the go too.

I’ve not been able to confidently travel anywhere really this year mainly because i don’t have a smartphone device to communicate, do my maps, check tickets as my iPad 2 is smashed and on it’s last legs, it’s my connection to the web and without i go digitally dark very quickly, it cannot get broken otherwise i’m stuffed to earn income to eat. yep, serious business! :)

so then, i’m ‘cleaning out my closet’ of stuff that i’ve got floating around in the van that i want to get rid of, i know that one man’s trash (just me, this stuff is not trash!) is another persons gold so i’m putting pictures here of the items for sale instead of eBay , i have a lot more trust in communicating with you guys on an open, transparent blockchain! (usual checks still apply!)

please remember guys i am in england so ideally these will be sold and sent to people in the uk, i’m not confident of sending overseas or to europe unless you can handle the courier part, i’m not amazon so it’s not easy to get it to any of those places. trust me if i could get it overseas to you at a good price i would but i don’t know couriers well enough.

i realise that limits the amount of people this is open too because steemit is global, i just wish i was in a position to be able to distribute to the world with a global courier it’s certainly one of the things i have planned in 2018 for another project around laser cutting i want to get off the ground, so many projects, so little funds!

SIZE EIGHT BAUER 33 TURBO SKATES (nearly brand new) sadly have to go. ..

as much as i would LOVE to be skating around on these since i fell on them (yes, i’m 44 and roller-skate, i can backskate too!) at a roller world with my daughter and bust my wrist (which is now fine) they have to go. any reasonable price accepted, ideally you would come fetch them, hang out and have a coffee and chat. they are a size eight and honestly, nearly new. i’ve worn them like 3 times and only one outdoors.

my rode ntg-2 battle damaged microphone, it works but needs some tlc

it’s got a screw missing, bit like it’s owner i guess. great boom microphone for overhead audio, great for vlogging or podcasting, i’ve upgraded to other kit from rode and rarely use it in the interview setting like i used to, don’t get me wrong i love interviewing but i’m just over that part for now, maybe if the @prophet0 or @aggroed read this i can somehow get some help to steemfest2 and would not have to sell it but could interview ALL THE PEOPLES while i’m there, after all - that’s my native skill ;)

a classic, the razor copperhead gamers mouse for pc, need stripping down and cleaning, been in storage

this was an unreal mouse when it was released, the laser sensor, the shape and styling and it was used for many a fragging war. if you know how much of a classic this is then if your willing to give it a good scrub and rebuild you will have an awesome gaming mouse. offers! :)

a beast of a router in the cradlepoint mbr1400 but with no power cable, you’ll need to hard reset

trust me when i say this, this is a beast of a router, it has all the bells and whistles inside of it and although it’s probably not 4g ready (maybe able to firmware flash it but not sure of hardware) it’s an incredible box, it was used as part of a project that i had setup for extreme connectivity. perfect for a coffee shop or something, i just can’t give you support on it, your on your own! :)

my nearly new lilliput hd field monitor - i don’t really want to sell it but i need too

simply put without a camera to drive it it’s just sitting around, i’d rather have the camera, make some more content for nomad pictures and nomad.video and then get another one after. you know how it works, get the kit you need for the job in front of you. it’s a brilliant piece of kit thou, hdmi in and out, full hd, 1920x1080 great for a dslr for preview or playback

the travel router than never travelled

this was all part of my kit that i bought when i got my twitter money, i spent lots of money on random stuff THAT WAS GOING TO BE useful if i was doing more jobs in europe, those jobs never really came down the pipe for whatever reason but i still had this awesome multi sim, multi country mifi device. give me an offer, i’m sure it’s still supported with them. travel through countries and have the local sim needed ahead of time. pretty bad ass for regular commuters.

this kinda turned into a help me to get to steemfest 2 and in some ways i guess funds always get to where they are needed most.

i watched in pain almost last year as steamfest happened, i’d been on the platform literally one month and i saw everyone coming together. the irony this time round is that it’s in portugal, literally a few hours away from where i want to get setup my creative shipping container retreat. it’s painful where my income status is right now, i’m literally doing all the things to get back on track, i know i’ll make it because i’m determined but BOY could i do with the help right now. .

this is dayle, we met. ahem, over the internet. we hit it off straight away and it was like some kind of universal coupling, we just got each other straight away and in my trip to the states we managed to go to the place i’d always wanted to get too at the end of the train track - coney island. we even managed to find mr robots hq. yes, i have instagram proof ;)

it was during my time that i had broken my wrist and i started using online video chat (blab) just to connect with people, i found dayle and over the last few years we have talked, met twice transatlantically and are virtually working our asses (well she is doing better than me) off to try and find away to not only be back together but start our journey together.

i know that dayle could probably make it over to the uk and stay with me but more than that if we could find some funds from the @t-r-f fund to help us get flights and a hotel for the week in november that would be huge for the both of us. not only to be together again but in portugal right next to the country where we want to build out the creative retreat.

until then i’m gonna work my ass off to get a new phone, new 4k video camera and start to build my brand advocates back pack ready for the hope that i would make it out to steemfest 2 in november.

looking at the costings i think it’s going to be fairly cheap to get a flight, ferry or drive to portugal for both of us so about $500 there and then just $600 for the hotel. i run pretty lightweight in terms of stuff to carry for filming and recording, dayle has a laptop for editing the content we would post up on steemit while we were there. trust me when i say i wanna interview everyone ;)

i think if we got $1000 we could probably do something like i did with this post and sell some stuff off to cover food, travel and other expenses. i do hope both @theprophet0 and @steemfestdreams manage to see this. i'll copy the url on the blog post they put as well! :)
