The heart of the city for hundreds of years is the Main Square

The largest city square of medieval Europe, preserved unchanged from 1257 and inscribed on the first list of World Heritage by UNESCO in 1978.

Krak's stronghold is in the heart of every Pole.

From the tower of the St. Mary's Basilica, for 600 years an hourly bugle is played on four sides of the world.

Sukiennice - a medieval market hall - is one of the most recognizable Polish monuments.

Krakow is a city with a thousand-year history, a former seat of Polish kings and the capital of the country, and today one of the most important European metropolises. Krakow's Old Town is a unique treasury of art, historical mementos and monuments that represent almost all architectural styles - from the Middle Ages to modern times.

Krakow's biggest challenge? No doubt smog. Although air pollution is still large, the fight in this field has been going on for many years, and thanks to its policy, Krakow has become the Polish leader in the fight for the environment.

Winter will be coming soon
cold and spicy
it may surprise you
and be ruthless

The Cracow market will be covered with snow
will cover the Marian tower
the Wawel dragon will hide
He will sleep in a hideout
to wake up in early spring

Who will notice
doves of thirst in their eyes
they do not expect too much
only bread crumbs
the welcoming hand of the newcomer
which will leave traces
on a snowy eiderdown.
