Do some trades during the next few moons and then get yourself a cheap ticket and come. There is @t-r-f but use it if you must!
Just want to amend on this that the @t-r-f account can only be seen as a 'nice to have' gesture from fellow community members donating towards it and then redistributing it evenly to attendees. You can certainly not count on it to be covering your complete travel trip. Last year it was quite well funded and therefore it had paid out (on average) 33% of every persons trip (concluding from my rough comparison). Also @t-r-f registration occurs on-site and payouts will only occur after the event :)
NONETHELESS follow @firepower's tips ride a few nice waves and see you in Portugal :)
