How do people do this?
Answer to that is total mystery for me. Steemfest has been intense! There is no other word for describing it. Everything has been great but it all has also a downside. For person who don’t have to deal with too many socials situation in the daily life it is really tiring. I’m not saying that it is necessary a bad thing, just an observation.
I’ve probably met more people during these a few days than during past year. And I’ve been way more social during past year than I actually really am by my nature. Trying to memorize everything you have been talking about and with whom is exhausting, and when you add a fact that I’m constantly using language that isn’t my first the mess is ready.
I think that I’m going to just sleep the two weeks after the steemfest just for recovering from the conference.
When you think it, it is kinda of sad, for me at least. We have only a few days to try to make connections with each other and it sucks when you body doesn’t agree with it. The situations are constantly highly simulating and it takes a toll.
And every now and then you have to listen what your body is trying to say.
I highly respect people who do this constantly, as their profession. It might seem easy just to talk with people, eat and drink, hang around, but it is exhausting !
Back to steemfest, I need to have a bit alone time and then we head up to closing dinner. After all, everything good comes to an end.
Some are social extroverts and find that level of social stimulation a lot less tiresome.

Yes, I totally get it, but let me re-arrange my words, I respect social introverts, I don’t know how they do this as a job.
Yeah, it must be feel like hard work if you're introverted.
I guess it is full-time job to be social butterfly 😊
Command accepted.
Hahaha.... don't worry. We are all so much tired as happy... is totally normal! Cool you enjoyed those days.
Peace V!
It has been amazing! Sad that it ends, tho I can’t wait to sober up, have a good night of sleep 😂
Hahaah totally.. was the perfect amount of time. Now im back so just now will be able to rest after 40 hours travel.
Peace V!
That is insane! 40hours. And i was exhausted for traveling like 5 😅
Haha I knooow! I wondered the same thing! I mean at the time, I was super into it and enjoying all the socializing, but now I'm like...how did I do that? :))
It was very fucking intense.
And yet I want mooooore! :D
It was great meeting you, by the way <3
I totally agree, I want more too! Had the same last year. I think Steemfest should be at least a full week! Especially with more Steemians attending each year.
I was actually thinking about you - 'cause I read that after attending SF 2 you were like 'I've got to get to the next one' and I am sooo feeling that right now.
Hope to see you at the next one <3
It was intense but it is not a bad thing. It is just a toll we need to pay to meet so many great people 😌
Oh definitely not a bad thing <3 Had way too much fun for it to be a bad thing!
Same here, conferences and conventions are great but can also be tiring. I am thinking about visiting the Steemfest only for one or two days to make it more manageable ;)
Not a bad plan. I think that if there is next year it would be easier because now i know what to expect, this year i had no clue what it is going to be so the intense of it caught me red handed.
Same for me! I'm glad you had a great time! I wish we had more than simply cross path. Maybe next time!
There is always next time 😌 and I truly had a blast !
Hah loved reading this :)) I thought I was the only one feeling like this!!
It was fucking intense wasn't it

I have never experienced anything as intense. It was something that caught me red handed.
Same! I'm now more into the chain than ever!

I can see why! Meeting so many other users made it more ”real” in my eyes at least.
it was great to meet you at Steemfest. It is exhausting, but it also gave me a huge amount of energy. I had no issues getting up after only 3-4 hours of sleep. Here it is back to the daily 'drag' of life. Ugh. But so much to process and so much to do! it would be nice to meet you again next year, I have the feeling I didn't talk enough to most people. That's the down-side if you already know a few.
You are right about that. It is easier to stick with ones you know than get to know new ones. Luckily there is always next year!
