Long time ago in the land of farms, John was one of the most appreciated among the farmers because we was a hard-working person and his farm was one of the greatest among the other farms. John was raising many animals on the farm but his pride was his horse.
The horse won so many competitions and his breed was one of a kind.
But one day the horse sat down as he was sick and did not want to stand anymore. John panic when he sow that and called the vet of the region right away.
The vet came took a look at the horse and after a long examination told John:
-I don't like the way it looks honest to be but we still have some hope. Give these pills to the horse for few days and lets see if he will be better but i am afraid if these are not working we need to kill the horse!
The pig heard the conversation between John and the vet and since the horse was his best friend run fast and told the horse:
-You need to stand up! It's not good what is happening...Please stand up!
But the horse didn't move a bit and didn't pay attention to the pig.
Second day the vet come again to exam the horse but it was the same situation.
The vet told John:
-Still the same my dear friend. I will say for us to wait one more day and let's hope tomorrow is going to be better. But if tomorrow is going to be the same we will have to kill the horse!
John was really sad but was still hoping that the horse will get better.
Same the pig as he was a very good friend with the horse. He went again to him and told him:
-Stand up dear friend... you have to stand up. I am afraid if you don't stand up something really bad is going to happen tomorrow!
Again the horse didn't move a bit and didn't pay attention to the pig.
The third day the vet come for the final examination of the horse and since he did not notice any improvement of the horse situation told John:
-Go and bring your rifle John! Unfortunately we will have to kill the horse today!
The pig run as fast as it never did it before and shout to the horse:
-Stand up dear friend... it's your last chance... John left after the rifle! If you don't stand up he will kill you today!
Hearing this the horse stand up right away and start running around the farm and even jumping few obstacles. John got so excited seeing the horse again running. At the end of the day the horse was his pride, everybody knew about it!
Because he was so happy John told to the vet:
-My dear friend thanks a lot for your help! You are a great vet and a great friend there is no question about it. We need to celebrate my dear friend. We will kill the pig and we will celebrate!

Hahaha great story bro' ;) The ending is one of a kind to say the least. Is it Romanian or from some other culture?

Yes have to agree the ending is epic!
I think the story is a Romanian one but i am not 100% sure.
Take care, have a great Sunday and always Steem On!

This is a great story! I've already heard a very similar story, which is a Hungarian folk tale :)))

I know it's a great story! It might have the origins in the Hungarian folk as honest to be i am not 100% sure of the origin. Thanks a lot for the visit and comment and i wish you a fantastic Sunday evening!
