just tried out your bot and i've noticed that the notifications arrive with a delay it might be because you're fetching the last_irreversible_block which is delayed by almost a minute. i advise you to fetch the head_block instead so your notifications will be near instant.
also a question: how do i deactivate notifications? i've tried the /cancel_monitor userName command but it appears to deactivate other than main account.

I'm currently using the
head_blockso I normally get the notifications within few seconds. I guess it was some server issue before.So do you want to deactivate your account notification temporarily?
/cancel_monitorcommand is for canceling notifications of other users' posts.If you want to deactivate all notifications including yours, you can use "block" or "mute for a while" feature on Telegram.
