What is @Neomad?

Available on https://neomad.org in alpha version, Neomad is a platform for nomad and remote workers.
More specifically it is a community of creative nomadic workers, gathered around a web application and looking towards reinventing their quality of life through traveling.

Within the invitation from the “blockchain mobility empowerment academy” initiated by the @globalschool in cooperation with notably @teekingtv, and @silkroad40, @Neomad is becoming the digital platform dedicated to the experimentation of features and developing the next generation #blockchain ecosystem dedicated to future of travel, learning & co creation.

In order to provide an alternative experience to the Neomad community, Neomad is joining the #steem & #EOS blockchains.
To do so it offers the benefits of the #Steem & #EOS #blockchain: the reward system via upvotes and the connexion to the worldwide community while bringing the Neomad experience to them.

Our intention is to cooperate with @silkroad40, @globalschool, the #utopian-io, @steemgg, @steemchiller, @vitkolesnik, @smartcoins, @thomasheindl, @gexi and, @mammasitta, @alexvan, @anomadsoul, @lizanomadsoul and more generally the #open-source, #blockchain communities and all the incredible talents by organizing @workshops & @hackathons from September 2018 on with motivating incentives and rewards.
These events fulfill the need of digital nomads and modern #travelers present on the platform increasing interactions and connections.
Ensuring this way a social impact on multiple levels:

• the digital nomads in terms of networking, entrepreneurship, co-creation outcomes and through independance via self-funding;
• the online audience following and supporting them;
• the remote and local contributors, as well as benefactors to be motivated with proper rewards mechanisms;
• developers to learn about the latest technologies;
• local benefactors to maximize their mutual benefits with the stakeholders mentioned above.

Neomad is still in alpha release

One of our goal with @neomad is to develop tools to support the community to organize more easly #meetups around the world while ensuring visibility and rewards mechanisms to power these activities and competences to match with needs expressed by the community.

Let's make this incredible trip together! From September we will be working with the @globalschool, @ccommons.art& friends and the com-lab on the following requirements:

• a logo for Neomad;
• serie of animations for Neomad;
• Steem blockchain auth (secured connection on https://steem.neomad.org);
• Steem profile information displayed;
• Steem profile (editor page);
• trip planner (planning the next trip, match with locals and call for proposal with mutual benefits);
• profiler matcher (to match digital nomads with targeted location audience, especially local communities of practices and people, organizations or companies interested to maximize mutual benefits);
• tasks & co-budgeting planner (enabling the redistribution mechanism to the various stakeholders and contributors using smart contracts);
• @frameworks integration: scouting, managing & promoting blockchain based multi-purpose spaces module.

The forthcoming features of the neomad platform are co-designed via the com-lab where the active community is prototyping heavily and requirements are gathered.

Traveling and working around can be expensive however very rich in learning. That is why in order to empower nomadic behaviors and provide mechanisms to support and power nomadic creatives, workers, learners, explorers and hosts steem.neomad.org is made for and by the experienced steemians within an effort to increase and provide acces tools to foster synergies between communities. The goal of this interface is to enable the steem users to connect easly with their steem credential by using steemconnect to import their content on the neomad platform and allow a visualisation of their travel experience within an interface co-desidned with and by the community itself.
