I just used a API from @Justyy for similar purpose on the Delegation Pages for SteemMakers it uses https://uploadbeta.com/api/steemit/delegators/?cached&id=steemmakers to get a JSON list of delegators and their stake.

Thanks, but the thing is, I don't want to rely on a third party API, that's kind of a hard constraint.
