flagging people is not mature when used for subjective reasons. I did not steal their payout like a flag does. their is no other way to fight the flaggots because playing their game is pointless. whales will always win a flag war.

im starting to think this whole flagging group is one mab 3 people,, but mostly alt accounts and bots.
I think whoever owns these bots can be identified by comparing the bot's voting habits to the known accounts flagging you.
yeah I think I might know who it is, starting to seem like its one person with a lot of alts and bots.
it doesn't even matter what I post I will get flagged by the bots, all I can do is continue to defend myself to it stop. it is also interesting when you look at the people that are upvoting the people commenting and flagging. some familiar names that use to flag me in the past.

There's been this big push on recently. Some people using the new flag rule of redistribution to justify doing anything they want. Some of them even seem sincere if misguided. If they focused their efforts on upvoting people who've been unjustly targeted, rather than dumping on people under the guise of making Steemit a better place, we might have something here like the old time mosh pits, where everyone was able to let loose, and if they got knocked down, the person who knocked them down would help them back up. That is a conversation that I want to be a part of. Instead, what we have is this situation where no one really wants to have fun, because if they are seen doing it the "wrong" way some powerful ego will come and repeatedly smash their face into the floor. If it keeps on this way, no one will want to be here. I wonder if the people who are flagging to try to make Steemit a better place, will ever admit to themselves that they are only making things worse.

I can not wholely disagree. There is becoming excess of acting out that is spilling over to the innocent. I cannot help but notice, however, that all of this started with a flag. My comments here are not necessarily specific to this post. This is an ongoing conversation I've been having with @skeptic, on many posts that seem relevant. I think that the very existence of the flag, while it includes so many uses, is going to continue to lead to these type disputes. I am sorry that you became caught up in this, and I do not remotely think you would even consider running flagbots. I am only trying to bring reason where there is an escalating pattern of reprisal and counter-reprisal. I am not sure that I'll ever be successful, as flagging causes many hard feelings. I do still think the root of the problem is the flag. The escalations come from the flaggers and their targets hacking at the leaves and branches, but the root is still there. I have flagbots following me now, that are even flagging posts that I visit. I may not actually be the specific target, but nonetheless, I will continue to speak out against the flag, wherever I can, even at the risk of becoming a target myself.
