Mark 12:31

KJV:And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

ESV:The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

NIV:The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

AMP:The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Truly there is no commandment greater than Loving God,your neighbor as you love yourself etc
Value people just the same way you value yourself. If you love yourself, then loving others wouldn't be an issue or a problem.

Self-love is a thing most people struggle about with in trying to striking a balance. Some of us like ourselves too much ( Pride) while some of us see ourselves as nothing (Low self esteem).

There is a need to strike a balance as children of God, the point is you can't give what you don't have. How do you expect to love others when you don't even love yourself? You find it very difficult to forgive yourself for the poor and wrong choices you have made in the past when God Himself has forgiven you. This is a very big issue because you can't treat others right when you can't treat yourself right .

Permit me to remind you of who you are; you are the apple of God's eye. God formed you specially, God is constantly thinking about you and he gave His son for you. You are greater and better than what you see, never see yourself less. See yourself as God sees you.

Conclusion

You are beautifully, fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Nothing less, so see yourself that way, love yourself and love who you are in Christ.

Study God's word and meditate on all what God has to say about you. Bearing in mind, turn and extend the love to the world around you.
