BE CONSCIOUS THAT CHRIST IS YOUR LIFE
This post is inspired by @steemchurch’s latest call to us not to lose our consciousness in God.

Col 3:4 (EMTV) Whenever Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory .
Col 3:4 (GNB) Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory! .
Col 3:4 (KJV) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. .
From the focal scripture, we see as Paul's marvellously expresses Christ as the source of our life..
"You hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins."
We were once dead to sin and the world. He came and redeemed us and gave us His own nature and life. What a privilege!
However, it is a near impossibility to live out this newness of life if we lose our consciousness and focus. We have to be continually and continuously conscious that that same creative voice which brought Lazarus out of the tomb also raised us to newness of life which is lived in the heavenly places. Today, Christ is the substance of our spiritual life. In Him we live, move and have our being. He now lives in us, and is the hope of glory. Indeed, Christ is the spring of our actions as well as the central thought which triggers every other thought within us.
We may make bold to say that Christ is the sustenance of our life. Indeed, he gives meaning to our lives as the Contemporary English Version translates Colossians 3: 4:
Col 3:4 (CEV) Christ gives meaning to your life, and when he appears, you will also appear with him in glory.
With this renewed knowledge, Christian are meant to feed upon Jesus' flesh and blood. Here is how Charles Spurgeon puts it:
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
O wayworn pilgrims in his wilderness of sin, you never get a morsel to satisfy the hunger of your spirits, except ye find it in him!
For real, Christ is the solace of our lives. All our joys come from him; and He consoles us in times of trouble because He is always present with us. A song writer once wrote: ‘there is nothing worth living for but him; and his lovingkindness is better than life!”.
As speeds the ship towards the port, so hastes the believer towards the haven of his Saviour's bosom.
As flies the arrow to its goal, so flies the Christian towards the perfecting of his fellowship with Christ Jesus.
As the soldier fights for his captain, and is crowned in his captain's victory, so the believer contends for Christ, and gets his triumph out of the triumphs of his Master.
Paul on having a grasp of this stated that living makes meaning with Christ and dying means nothing so far He has Christ.
Gal 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me
When we allow this life of Christ to flow inside of us, there will, there must be, to a great extent, the same expressions of this life in our daily living. Moreover, a conscious fellowship with Him on a daily basis gives us the assurance of growing like Him in statue and wisdom.
Here is bottom line
Christ is the life we now live. We are meant to be His Divine copy. We should seek to tread in his footsteps, until he becomes the crown of our life in glory.

We are safe, honoured and happy for Christ is our life!
Discover your purpose in Christ and fulfill it.
PRAYER: Lord, unveil your purpose clearly to me and give me the grace to fulfill it.
REFLECTION: The purpose of life is to live a life of purpose.

Christ lives in us now that we have become born again, for people to see who Christ really is we must life a Christlike life. Something we can do by the help of his spirit which lives in us. I love how you concluded:
