THE PLACE OF HELP IN MINISTERING (PART 3)
Hello amazing people. Hope all is going on well with you. I'm back again with your exciting series THE PLACE OF HELP IN MINISTERING. Do well to check out the First post and the Second post. You're sure gonna be blessed.
Continuing from where I stopped, we should always take note that everyone should be helpers in the community so that souls can be won and the ministry can be enlarged.
When we talk about help, what many people understand it to be is giving people money. Its far more that money even though money, they say, answereth all things. Here, I'll be talking about somethings we can give and share among ourselves and especially to unbelievers all for the purpose of winning them to Christ.
Volunteering in the community
Here, there are numerous things that can be done voluntarily to in the community.
The particular one I wanna talk about here is blood donation. This has gone a long way in saving the lives of so many in the community. Blood donations doesn't kill people. Just for you to know.
Adopting a role for maintenance
Clothing's, Shoes, bags, toys, furniture, books, etc are key things we can give out. When we talk about this, it mustn't always be brand new, and at the same time, it mustn't be old and useless.
You can give out good materials, not because you're so rich, but for the sake of the gospel.
Remember, your most "useless" cloth(to you) can be someone else's Christmas cloth. Let's take note.
Serving Children
This simply means that you can help cater for other people's children in the community. You can help with the children's home-work, play with the children and all that to keep them alive and happy
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me , and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Share your talents
Many people find it so difficult to teach people what they know for free. Everything is sure not about money. Learn to do things freely without charge. It goes a long way to touch lives.
Listening Ears
Endeavor to always visit and listen to those who have issues to discuss. There are so many people going through different challenges and they cry day after day, but find it difficult to voice out. You need to move closer to such people and lighten their burdens.
To add to all that
-Sponsor the less privileged.
-Share the gospel and help people to know God.
-Fast and Pray for others.

Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.
Proverbs 19:17
Remember
~To call out for help means you cannot
cannot do something by yourself.
~You will never know your worth but other people do.
~Your help can draw people to Jesus.
~And finally, add Help to your ministry.

Service, offering listening ears, support and humility are very important in Ministry.

I love all the points but the place of Listening ear really got me. The biggest of people suffer depression and end up backsliding because they lacked someone to talk to. I wish we will start giving people sincere attention when they need our ears in our local assembly.

Backsliding because one has no one to talk to is really terrible. And thats wots happening for real. We really need to move closer to people around.
Yeah! I had been in such Situation before, I stopped going to church for a while just because I felt then that I didn't have anybody to listen to my challenges. This was no financial challenges though.

Although I've not followed this series religiously, I must say this one is precise with beautiful messages...
Honestly, many of us are somewhat guilty of this 'crime', that we think mere helping someone with our knowledge can make such fellow outsmart us or steal our creativity. But I want to believe that this kind of thinking is relatively a primitive one and "greed-inspired". However, when we teach others (who have good intention) what we've learned, we ultimately gain mastery of what we have internalised, handled and utilised.

as we give account for our ministries. Romans 14:12 says, "so then each one of us shall give account of himself to God." It will be a place of Reckoning, where we have to tell our Lord, how we lived the life He gave us, how we used the resources, the time, the knowledge, the education, everything we have received from His hand, we will have to give an account for.

Giving time to people is one of the best gift one can offer. I have done that several times (not praising myself though) and after listening to people story, God has been helping me to raise them from angry state to appreciative state, from depression to happy state.
