HAPPY SUNDAY

   A big shout out to my fellow steemians, how is your day going? As we all know, today is Sabbath day, a day we are all supposed to gather to praise the only living God.

As usual, I woke up as early as possible in order to prepare for today’s service, which consequently allow me to get to church even before the commencement of the service. However, what I learnt in today’s service is what I believe I should not keep to myself alone. That is why I am eager to share it with my steemit family.

From the book of psalms 8 verse 6 {“thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet.”} Therefore, God gives the opportunity to dominate to every living being. However, I used to wonder why large amount of people live as slave instead of dominating? And why some people work like an elephant but they end up receiving infinitesimal amount of money for their hardwork?

But by the virtue of today’s service, I am able to deduce the reasons many people live below what God want them to be.
Here are some of the causes:

• wrong belief: though God already gave everybody the power to dominate, but due to the fact that some people did not believe they are created to dominate as a result of their family background, academic status or their environment.
• lack of Salvation: from the book of Job:22 verse 21 {“acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.”} therefore, those who did not surrender their life to Christ, may end up living below their purpose in life.
• laziness: from 2 timothy 2 :15 {“study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Hence, dominion is only meant for the people who creates time to study, but not for lazy people.
• lastly, prayerlessness: with prayer and other important factors, nothing is unachievable. {“Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. James:5 verse 17” Hence some people are living without dominating because they don’t pray.

In conclusion, dominion is what everyone is entitled to, but practicing it is a ball in everyone’s court.
