I like how God frequently asks what we already have in our hand. Many times we have a goal after a certain thing happens we will do something for God. Moses, what is that in your hand? Elijah had his mantle. Even when feeding the 5000, the Apostles were all wondering how they were going to feed them. They were busy telling Jesus what they didn’t have. Jesus said, what do you have? A lad had loaves and a couple of fish. God takes the little we have and shows His glory.
Even if we only have hands and nothing in them, we can give an embrace to the suffering and help carry the load of the weak.
