What can your hands do?

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

Regardless of what you do, God needs you to do it with effortlessness and Excellency. It is His work ethic. The Apostle Paul stated

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” (Col. 3:23 ESV).

He needs you to do your one-dollar task, as if you are procuring a million dollars. It is simple for us to disregard the everyday tasks in life, since we are sitting tight for the "huge things". The Lord says that the way you do the little things, predicts how you will do the huge things.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going (Eccl. 9:10 ESV).

Moreover, the verse above also urges us to get our hands on something. As opposed to inertly sitting tight for that fantasy employment, movement, or opportunity, He needs your hands to accomplish something. Sit without moving hands dependably prompt neediness, as Solomon stated,

“Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger” (Prov. 19:15 ESV).

God is a God of business enterprise. He needs you to be proactive, to glance around, and see what you can do. When you discover something, do it energetically, as if you are doing it for Him. There is benefit in each work, and neediness out of gear hands (Prov. 14:23).

"Hand" in thescriptures above is utilized as a similitude. What does it symbolize? Pronounce that "my hands are tenacious and gainful. Whatever I do is blessed by the Lord".

Do you carry out your job with all you may? Are your hands idle since you are sitting tight for that flawless opportunity? God instructs us to glance around, and see what you can do!

Sort:

God is a God of entrepreneurship. He wants you to be proactive, to look around, and see what you can do.

Still Elisedaniels...Love for the Gospel

Everything we do must be done as for the Lord and not for men because it is from God that we receive a reward, from the smallest to the greatest we must do it with love, effort and well done, if in a short time we are faithful in everything. much He will put us. I bless you my brother, everything you do will prosper.

Thanks @htent for sharing with us

We must be people that everything that touches prosper as well as those Biblical men, like: Jacob, Isaac, Abrahan the three patriarchs, and Jose a great administrator, be useful for the talent of developing with our hands that what God has delivered be used productively to bless others. Thanks for sharing

Our hands have to be used perfectly for productivity and prosperity that whatever you undertake, do with them depending on your ability will be a big blessing for you and all others, because it is the way to show our power effort with love and dedication that God looks that everything we do is big or small is full of love and excellence for him and not for man. Blessings

I like how God frequently asks what we already have in our hand. Many times we have a goal after a certain thing happens we will do something for God. Moses, what is that in your hand? Elijah had his mantle. Even when feeding the 5000, the Apostles were all wondering how they were going to feed them. They were busy telling Jesus what they didn’t have. Jesus said, what do you have? A lad had loaves and a couple of fish. God takes the little we have and shows His glory.
Even if we only have hands and nothing in them, we can give an embrace to the suffering and help carry the load of the weak.
Great post!
Thank you!
