LIVING RIGHT
Greetings Brethren. I bring you good News from the word of God and it's about living righteous as a Christian.
1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
As child of God you are the light of the world. Light is the opposite of darkness. Everyone welcomes light with shouts of joy. Wherever there is light, hidden plans are exposed. What Jesus Christ expects from us is to prove Him right by living in accordance with His description of us.
The implication of being called a christian is that you should stop living in sin. The most painful experience a Child of God can have is for someone to say to you your face: ”And you call yourself a child of God!” An unbeliever knows that he is not a child of God, but he expects a life that is compliant with your confession as a Christian.
Some of us have forfeited many things we could have genuinely fought for, because we don't want anybody to say: ”And you said you are a child of God”.
I recall the death and burial of the late founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The senior pastors suspected that l was going to be his successor even though nobody had officially said so. They waged war against me. On my part, I prepared for battle by loading myself with some mathematical calculations and putting together some Bible passages I could use as arrows. l was ready for a total showdown spiritually. Along the way, the Lord began to speak to me. He said to me, ”As a son of the Prince of Peace, are you supposed to fight?” That was the end of my plan to fight my detractors.

Living righteous is very costly. But the consequence of not living holy is too dreadful to be compared to the cost. You might find it difficult to remain faithful to your spouse or withhold yourself from sex before marriage. Some people would dismiss and mock you as being old-fashioned. But when weighed against the horrible result of immoral living, such as the odds of contracting HIV/AIDS and the consequent forever lasting regret, at any cost, holiness would be better appreciated.
1 Peter 2:9-12
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
The Almighty God will not change His principles for anyone. He commands us to comply but allows us to make decisions.
For Those that hesitated to follow Jesus, he never advised any of them to first go home and think about the issue. They had to make the decision there and then.
Self-denial is a basic qualification for discipleship, and it involves praying and fasting when others are sleeping, and while others want to spend time on leisure, you're studying the Bible. It also requires keeping quiet while others are engaging or talking in unimportant past-times.

The forces wielding a distorting influence over our reasoning powers are immense. Though God is revealing himself all the time in every aspect of his creation (Romans 1:20) and his Word (Hebrews 1:1–2), Satan is constantly trying to blind us to that revelation (2 Corinthians 4:4). And indwelling sin mixes with culture, education, and life experience in a fallen world, producing lenses that warp our perceptions of almost everything.
Living right is not even obeying God's commandments
Just do what's right
But of course the commandments are there to guide us

Living right is really essential to mankind, apart from the fact that it's God's will, it's very important to ethics and moral standard by which we as human being must abide and stand by.
Like you said apart from the fact that sex is a sin before marriage in actual sense it's improper to indulge in sex before marriage, it's not a societal value that seems proper.
For we are not conformed to the world,
We are light of the world, we become a living sacrifice to him to live according to God's will
This is a wonderful message. As child of God you are the light of the world. Light is the opposite of darkness. Everyone welcomes light with shouts of joy. The powers using a twisting impact over our thinking powers are enormous. Despite the fact that God is uncovering himself all the time in each part of his creation (Romans 1:20) and his Word (Hebrews 1:1– 2), Satan is continually attempting to daze us to that disclosure (2 Corinthians 4:4). Furthermore, indwelling sin blends with culture, instruction, and beneficial involvement in a fallen world, creating focal points that twist our view of nearly everything.
I really like this part saying "Self-denial is a basic qualification for discipleship, and it involves praying and fasting when others are sleeping, and while others want to spend time on leisure, you're studying the Bible. It also requires keeping quiet while others are engaging or talking in unimportant past-times" Good one
