Marriage is a divine institution which foundation was established by God, it cannot be viewed as a cultural thing but God's divine arrangement. Marriage is the first institution of the world and was established before the church, the institution of marriage and family is close to God's heart, that is why is He express His thought in Genesis 2: 18-24

And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.
Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
So Adam gave names to all cattles, to the birds of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in it's place.
Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
And Adam said: " This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be call woman, because she was taken out of man."
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Marriage involved two people going into it. It involve joining of two people in a holy wedlock. For marriage to work two people will be joined together both in soul, mind and body.

The Soul/mind

It's not enough for them to belong to spiritual kingdom, there must be a connection. The soul is the center of the will and emotion. Likes and dislikes. The party involved must be in agreement in the veral issues of the mind, agreement have to be a place in the mind. Where there is no agreement there will be no discord. Amos 3:3 says:

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

Marriage can not work unless the two party involved are in agreement. One person must give way for peace to reign, two captain can never be in the same boat. God has given women the greatest virtue of submissive; learn to apply it. Marriage are made up of two forgivers, learn to forgive always and forget. Of a truth God made marriage to be enjoyed and not to be endured; Invite the head of every marriage to your home, do your path and watch your marriage blossom.

The Body

Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me; It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
Let the husband renders to his wife the affection due to her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
The wife does not have authority over her body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
Do not deprive one another except the consent for a time, that you may give yourself to fasting and prayers; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

1 Cor. 7:1-5

The body is the physical package . Sexual relationship is meant to provide the husband likewise the wife exclusively sexual satisfaction, when one person refuse to perform his/her marital duties crises are bound to arise in such home. Some couple only desire each other for the purpose of conception which is a very big error. Children are only here to spice the marriage. In marriage you must never be found prostituting with your body.

What to know about pure sex.

Let your fountains be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth.
As a loving deer and graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love
For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman, and be embraced in the arms of a seductress?

Proverb 5:18-20

Marriage is good when the two party understands each other strength and weakness, because you are there to support and complement him/her.
