Do not be disrespectful to Gods will. Be always dedidicated to almighty God to do his will ,Jonah wanted to hide and rain away fro work of God but God showed him that he God is the creator of the universe and he has the will to do anything .

Some times pride can make us not to do what we are suppose to do in life.
Some times pride can make us not to forgive people who have offended us.
If you believe in christ as a true christain always avoid hatrate, trust him and always obey his words and do His work ,he will always be faithfull
