FRIDAY BOMB - WHAT TO DO IN PRAYER

One day I was trying to reason out solutions to some matters while I was studying and I heard a sister crying in the place of prayers, actually there were no words, she kept sobbing and sobbing, it was so intense that I couldn’t concentrate, I was so touched that I wanted to go ask her what the matter is, but I allowed her until another time we may see.

One misconception christian folks have about prayer is that they think they can emotionally blackmail God into doing something for them.

Is God touched by your pains? Yes
Does He have compassion on people? Of course He does

The truth is, what is expects from us is quite simple and answers will come cheaply.

To whom it may concern:

Prayer is not you telling God about your challenges or problems, it is not telling God what is happening. He knows it already. Prayer is telling Him what He should do for you by REMINDING HIM of HIS WORD concerning that situation.

For example:

• Someone is challenged in health.

Response: God, your word said in
Exo. 23:25

and ye shall serve The Lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and water and shall take sickness away from thee.

So I am serving you and sickness is not part of the deal. So take it away.

• Someone who is called to defend his or her project or to do a presentation.

Response: (after preparing very well) God as I am going out to defend my project or do this presentation, I have prepared well and You said in Your word..
Luke. 21:15..

I will give you a mouth and a wisdom which your adversary(audience) cannot gainsay nor resist.

So as I present, grant me wisdom to respond to questions thrown at me which will wow the panel and leave them stunned hence resulting to my ‘A’.

I would be writing plenty and plenty if I have to spell it out in all circumstances. All we need in prayers is wrapped up in the word, so it is ideal you have a healthy word life before you engage in prayers because if you don’t know what is written, you will be written off. John 15:7 says,

if my word abides in you, then I in you, you can now ask(pray for) anything you want and it will be done.

So, gather scriptures concerning that matter because so mightily grew the word in Ephesus(any particular subject matter) and prevailed, so if you gather enough word on any matter, as you pray presenting it to God, o ga na’a adaba one by one, back to back as if it is Real Madrid and champions league.
