The secret of success for the believer
Success, that state in which we all want to be at a certain time, is what we want to happen when we start a business, when we start a relationship, when we go to college and start a career, even when for some reason we have to change of residence and start again in another place.
Success is defined as follows: "The concept of success comes from the Latin word exitus, which translates as exit, and success is considered to be the positive consequence of an action or undertaking."
Then we can understand that, to succeed is to successfully complete some task that we undertake, whether in the workplace, business, training and family among others.
In the Bible we find stories of men of faith who were extremely successful, even in the most difficult moments of history, they managed to have growth, abundance and generate a lot of wealth amidst very unfavorable contexts for them. One of these cases is that of Isaac, a man who in times of hunger and a very adverse situation for the entire region, ended up getting rich thanks to some principles that I want to share next.
Genesis 26: 12-14 And Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped that year a hundredfold; and Jehovah blessed him. The man was enriched, and prospered, and became great until he became very powerful. And he had a flock of sheep, and a herd of cows, and much tilling; and the Philistines envied him.
Principles for the success of the believer
Avoid the unequal yoke
Genesis 24: 3-4 and I will swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take for my son a wife of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell; but you will go to my land and to my relatives, and you will take a wife for my son Isaac.
2Corinthians 6: 14-15 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; because what fellowship does justice have with injustice? And what communion has light with darkness? And what concord Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
1Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived; Bad conversations corrupt good manners.
Being tied to a conjugal or work relationship, an association where the parties involved do not share the same interests will be very difficult to agree on the ways or methods to be used to achieve a mutual goal. Abraham understood this principle for which he insisted that his son take a wife from his own people, to prevent him from being diverted from faith in God and to bring consequences because of disobedience. Later we can see in the scripture that most of the kings of Israel who took foreign women left after their religious practices thus provoking the wrath of Jehovah and bringing negative consequences for themselves and for the people.
Do not think about going back
Genesis 24: 5-7 The servant replied: Perhaps the woman will not come after me to this earth. Shall I, then, return your son to the land from whence you came? And Abraham said to him: Beware that you do not return my son there. Jehovah, God of heaven, who took me from the house of my father and from the land of my kindred, and spoke to me and swore to me, saying, "To your descendants I will give this land; He will send his angel before you, and you will bring a woman from there for my son.
Luke 9:62 And Jesus said to him, "No one who puts his hand on the plow looks back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
Abraham had received an order from God with a promise included, and the command was to leave his land and not return to that place because God had prepared a place for his blessing and prosperity. Once you draw a goal, you set a goal, you need to persist, persevere in it until you achieve success, you should not give up or think about giving up, if you stumble get up, if something went wrong try again until you manage to finish what you you started and success will smile on you.
Obey the voice of God and trust in his promises.
Genesis 26: 1-5 Afterward there was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham; And Isaac went to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar. And the Lord appeared to him and said, "Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land that I will tell you. Live as a stranger in this land, and I will be with you, and I will bless you; for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will confirm the oath that I made to Abraham your father. I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and I will give your descendants all these lands; and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in your seed, because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my commandment, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man to repent. He said, and will not he? He spoke, and he will not execute it?
For genuine believers to believe God and his promises can not be an option, it is the rule of life of the believer, even if what happens around us is not so encouraging it is necessary to keep believing in the promises of God. If God gave you the vision, I charge you with that project you must believe that it will lead you to fulfill it, even if the conditions that surround you are not the most suitable. Isaac decided to keep believing God, obey God's order and stay in the place that God told him even when there was no production, there was perhaps a situation of drought and as a consequence lack of food that had the population submerged in hunger and is forcing them to emigrate in search of food, Isaac did not stop to think about it, he only made the decision to listen and obey God.

Deuteronomy 28: 1-5 It will happen that if you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep and do all his commandments that I am giving you today, so the LORD your God will exalt you above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will come upon you, and they will overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God. Blessed are you in the city, and blessed are you in the field. Blessed is the fruit of your womb, the fruit of your land, the fruit of your beasts, the offspring of your cows and the flocks of your sheep. Blessed be your basket and your kneading bowl.
Isaac not only obeyed God, but decided to plant, decided to work in the most unfavorable conditions, being clear that God had promised to bless him and based on the promises of God and his faith, I work the earth obtaining the best results. Even when we live difficult situations, when the environment to start, work or start a project is not the most suitable, if how many with the favor of God will give you success where many fail, they will call you crazy but God help you to recognize opportunities that others do not see.
