There are popular sayings that highlight the fact of the prejudices of society, "The appearances deceive" "As you see you are treated" "Not everything that glitters is gold" etc. Many times we meet people who, due to their appearance, do not inspire confidence, we do not believe they are qualified for any task or they simply do not meet our expectations, but in the end they end up surprising us.
The character of the day.
From very small David was separated from his brothers, for him there was no vacation, play with friends or school. His father had a preference for his brothers, so much so that little David did not sit at the table to eat with the family, his life was lonely in the woods and meadows taking care of the family's sheep, facing dangerous beasts of the field, forging as a true warrior. At home, everyone had aspirations, dreams to fulfill, projects to develop but little David seemed condemned to a solitary life in the countryside, only with the company of sheep, wolves and lions.
The day that all change
One day something happened that would change his life forever, what seemed like an ordinary day, it became the big day for little David. It turns out that, God gave order to the prophet Samuel to anoint the one who would be the next king of the nation, sending him to the house of David's father, without revealing which one was chosen to reign. The prophet gave notice to Isai father of David, that day he would be at home with a very important commission. Already at Isai's house, and knowing the purpose of the visit, the man prepares the banquet, they serve the table and summon all the sons of Isai, who according to their criteria were eligible to reign, all were present except the little David, whom They left in the field because they did not have what it took to reign.
The father paraded before the presence of the prophet to all his children, who anxiously awaited the confirmation of God to anoint the elect as the new monarch, confirmation that never came, to all these the prophet asks: Do you have any other son? Yes, Isai answers, but he is the smallest, which I think God would not choose him, so that's why he is not here, the prophet says: Send for him, because we will not sit at the table until he has not arrived. From that day the exploits of this LITTLE GIANT began to be in the mouth of all, and the once a perfect stranger began to become known killed a giant with his own sword, won countless battles to become king.
This can be your story
How many times have you felt rejected? how many people around you see you and think and even say that you are not the best person for the position, that you will not succeed, that you will not be the writer you think you will become. There are many "experts" on the street who make hasty judgments of you without knowing what is inside you.
If you are one of those who from childhood and through your adolescence, youth and adulthood have made fun of you, for some failure in your life and even for your appearance, I want to tell you not to give up, David never felt frustrated or failed, he waited patiently for his moment, because deep down he knew he was born to reign, what others say about you is not what qualifies you, what qualifies you, is what you think you can achieve, the desire you have to do it, and believe that you were born for big things, do not stop and do not let anyone tell you that you can not achieve it, just remember that, YOU WERE BORN TO REIGN.
