Dear friends

Surely it has happened to all of us who admire the skills of others: in sports, in art, in the kitchen, there are many videos on YouTube that we call "viral" that present admirable things.

That way, those who saw Jesus acting must have stayed. But there is something that goes beyond simple surprise and that has to do with the fulfillment of prophecies. Isaiah 35 4-7 announces the prodigious action of God to alleviate the suffering of the lame, the blind, the deaf. For Jesus realizes what the prophet had announced.

Those who see his signs, immediately engage with the prophecies of the Old Testament, recognizing Jesus the expected Messiah.

God in his mercy cares for those who suffer, for those who decline in their lives. It is a God who looks at the poor to make him "heir of the Kingdom" As the apostle James 2:1-5 tells us, Jesus goes through the world doing good, doing everything well.

Brothers, let us pray to God that he does everything well without excluding anyone, let us ask him to show us the treasures of His love.

Let us raise our prayers so that as a church we can give witness to God, starting from the integration in our communities.

So that the rulers know how to overcome favoritism and attend to the needs of the most disadvantaged.

Let us consider those excluded from society so that their human dignity is recognized and with them their duties and rights.

Be kind, Lord, the prayers that we present to you. By Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
