You Are No Longer a SERVANT!
As a Christian, one truth you must be conscious of the is that you are no longer a servant. Though, we used to be but not any longer because when Jesus died for us, we became born of God, automatically making us sons of God. Thus, we are joint-heirs with Christ.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

This is one of the the Realities every Christian should understand because it's part of the major reasons Christ came to the earth to die for us. Some people still think that the reason Jesus came to die for us is just to wash our sins away, but I'm sorry to disapoint you, No! That's not the reason he came, that was just a means to an end. He came to give us life, (a different one from the life we had), so that with this life in us, we could be in fellowship with God. You might be wondering to yourself that how can man, with all his shortcomings and errors become one with God but that was what Jesus came to truly accomplish and he has already accomplished it when he died on the cross.
The life you were born with isn't the same life you now have if you are born again. If you have received Jesus into your life, there's a new kind of life you received as well and that's the God-kind of life.
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
John 5:26 KJV

So you see that if you truly have this life in you, you should never see yourself as a servant. Rather see yourself as royalty because the same God nature is what you now possess. The life of a mother dog cannot be different from the one the baby has. So also, the life God has is the same with yours now.
Get to really understand who you are in Christ and live the victorious Christian life. You are not a servant, you are a participator in the Inheritance of God.
