Serve Christ Out Of Gratitude.

I have been so busy in school lately and we will starting exam soon and that is why I been less active. Today I will be another amazing topic with you and I know you will be bless as you read.

Psalm 97:15"Rejoice in the Lord,ye righteous,and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness ."

God wants us to obey Him but not because we do not have other options. He wants us to obey Him in preference to other options . In the life of a believer there will be challenges of choice of loyalty and allegiance .

Man is so special that all other creations want to somehow align with him,either as his friends or as his enemies or his slave or his master. God has known this all this while. The Christian is like the children of Israel whom God delivered from the slavery of Egypt (kind of slavery of sin, bad habits,wrong association and false gods ).True, the Israelites were greatful and wanted to express it.

They devised their own ways of doing this ,but God, as it were said "If you want to show how grateful you are ,then here is how you can show it :Dont have any other gods besides me :dont make unto yourself graven images,talk less of blowing down unto them ,don't take my name in vain...."(Exodus 20:3-7).

These rules still stands for today for anyone who has been redeemed from the strong damning hold of sin. We ought to be grateful for all the great blessings ,which God has given to us for free. The Christian life should be one of joyful gratitude,in humility not of painful and regretful drudgery aimed at "Serving" God .
