IS MONEY EVIL?
Looking at the rate at which people are indulging in all kinds of things just to make money, a lot of people tend to believe that it is the force behind money that influences and induce them to do it's bidding.

If money can induce people to do anything to get whatever they want, can we conclude that is is evil?
It is so easy for people to kill for money, to commit murder just for money and to steal all because of money. All manner of sins that people commit are mostly as a result of money.
People have ignored dignity and have overlooked integrity and only care about what can bring money and nothing else.
It easier for people to go naked, expose their private engagement with their partners just to make money. Their minds they feel like "If it can bring money then it's OK.
Money has silenced the truth to some extent. People can easily tell lies and covering up evil when money is involve. Many institutions who will stand out for the truth to prevail finds it's hard speaking the truth when money is involved and influencing their activities behind the scenes.
Some Ministers of God have been bought by people who have money and will not condemn their bad practices and evil ways.
Money is rated as the most important thing in life than even life itself. This is why a lot of people sell their precious souls to the devil just for money.

Each day on our TVs, Radios and Internets we hear many incidence of death and destruction of life all because of money.

To answer the question I will say NO. Money is not evil. What would our world be if there is no medium of exchange for goods and services?

The Bible never said momey is an evil thing or it is evil to have money. The Bible said the love of money is what leads to all kinds of evil.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, in their eagerness to get rich, have wandered away from the faith and caused themselves a lot of pain. 1Timothy 6:10
Love is the greatest force on earth and when you love something you will do anything possible just to have it. Love is stronger than even death and it is what can make someone lay down his life for another.

Someone who loves money always sets his heart upon it and wants to gain more at all cost, He is not satisfied that he has enough. That should not be our attitude in life. Our love for God must surpass the love we have for anything in this world.
You can be tempted and be blinded to commit any kind of evil if all you care about is to have money more.
But people who want to get rich keep toppling into temptation and are trapped by many stupid and harmful desires that plunge them into destruction and ruin. 1Peter 5:9
Those who love money so much are never satisfied after having more. They would want to earn more and more and that's when money now controls them and blinds them to even notice what is right and what is wrong.
God is our portion in the land of the living and He alone should be our delight. If we delight in the Lord He will give us the desires of our heart.
We should be content with whatever God gives us.

Money is never evil but how we seek it, spend it that is what it leads to evil.
For money is not evil, but the purpose we use the money for makes it evil. For we need God's guidance to use money for right purpose.
