DRUG ABUSE GONE TOO FAR!! WE ARE ADDICTED!
DRUG ABUSE HAS BECOME SO NORMAL:
Most people in the world do not understand why other people become so addicted to drugs or how do drugs changes the brain to faster compulsive drug abuse. people mistakenly see drug abuse and drug addiction as sternly a social depression and anxiety problem and may characterize those who are addicted to be morally weaker than the average . One very common thinking is that drug abusers should be capable of just stop using drugs if they are only willing to change their situation.
What many people often underestimate is the complexity of the topic drug addiction , that it is a disorder that affects the nervous organs, and because of this, stopping drug use is not simply a matter of strength and willpower. Through the biological and scientific studies advances we now know much more about the method of drugs work in the brain, and we know that disorder of drug addiction can be successfully treated to help people who want to stop abusing drugs and resume their normal productive lives.
So What Is Drug Addiction?
Drug addiction is one of the most growing chronic disorder, often related to brain disease that causes compulsive drug seeking and misuse, and causes harmful consequences to the drug addict and those around them. Drug addiction is a brain disorder because the abuse of too much drugs leads to changes in the working structure and function of the brain and nervous system. even though it is true that for many people the normal decision to take drugs is voluntary, but over the time the changes in the brain caused by repeated action of drug abuse can impair the drug users self-control and ability to make decisions, and at the same time makes an intense impulse to take more drugs.
It is because of these chemical changes in the nervous system that it is most challenging for a person to stop abusing drugs.
Fortunately, many treatments have been discovered that can help people to counter addiction's powerful disturbing effects and regain all control to their lives. scientific research shows that mixing addiction treatment medications, when appropriate, with behavioral therapy is the one way to ensure success for many patients. Treatment approaches that are different to each patient's drug use habits and pattern of any concurrent medical brain disorder, depression, psychiatric, and social problems can help achieve sustained recovery and a life without drugs.
( some transformations before and after drug abuse)
Like other chronic diseases, such as diabetes, asthma, or heart disease.................................. drug addiction is managed effectively. but, it is not uncommon for a drug user to relapse and begin abusing drugs again. Relapse does not indicate failure but rather, it indicates that the treatment should be readjusted, or that new treatment is needed to help the person regain control and recover.
SO HOW DO WE COUNTER IT?
HOW CAN WE HELP?
