Spiritual Suicide Vol. 2 (Effect, Example of Spiritual Suicider and Remedy to Spiritual Suicide)

Good day to the whole of @steemchurch Community. Some days ago I started work on the above title, where I defined and discussed the various causes of Spiritual suicide. Here is the link to the post.

Without wasting much of our time, today I will be going straight to the effect, example of spiritual suicider from the Scriptures and remedy to bring us back to life after committing it.

Effect of Spiritual Suicide

Spiritual Death

When you refused to hear the word of God, or you hear but not putting it into practice, the inevitable result is death in the spirit. That is, you will not be conscious of the things of the spirit anymore. In fact, evil would now seems right to you.

Dead to sin:

This means to loose consciousness of sin. That is you no longer take sexual immoralities, stealing, persecuting others and even killing as sin, as they now seems normal to you.

Danger of losing Heaven

What human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions; in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the Kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)

Yes, one solid impact of spiritual suicide is that it can make you lose heaven. The Lord is holy; therefore, for you to see Him, you must be holy as well.

Insecurity

Don't think that the Lord is too weak to save you or too deaf to hear your call for help! It is because of your sins that he doesn't hear you. It is your sins that separate you from God when you try to worship him. You are guilty of lying, violence, and murder. (Isaiah 59:1-3)

A dead spiritual life, back up with that of prayerlessness will definitely deprive you of GOD's protection, leading to free access for enemies into your life.

Example of Spiritual Suicider from the Scripture

Gehazi: He inherited an eternal curse due to his greediness (2 King 5:19-27).
Lot's Wife: She was condemned in to a pillar of salt because of her disobedient. (Genesis 19:26).
Samson: He couldn't complete fulfilling his destiny because of his lust after women. (Judges 16).
Saul: He was detroned from his position as the King of Israel due to his disobedient to God. (1 Samuel 15:10-34).
Judas: He betrayed his master because of money, and this lead him to eternal damnation. (Luke 22:3-6)

Embracing His Word Again:

Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8)

As this will help restore your heart back to God.

Decide to Stop that Habitual Sins of Yours
and ask Jesus to help You with this Decision:

“Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about. (Jeremiah 33:3).

And do well to pray and fast along this you decision making.

Detach Yourself from Every Evil Companionships:

Do not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can light and darkness live together? (2 Corinthians 6:14).
