STEEMCHURCH - The Love Of God
Dear Steemians,
Like most kids, some of us do not return God's love, but does it make Him love us any less?
1 John 4:9-11
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another
Let's check this out? What is love? According to Wikipedia
Love encompasses a variety of different emotional and mental states, typically strongly and positively experienced, ranging from the deepest interpersonal affection to the simplest pleasure

God is love, but His love is very different from human love. While the earthly love is based on emotions or feelings, God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. God does not love us because we're lovable or make Him feel good. He loves us because He is love which is why He created us in His own likeness. He sent & sacrificed His only begotten Son for this purpose. He wanted a personal relationship with us so He sent His son to restore that relationship.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God's love for us is undeserving & know no bound. In spite of our weaknesses, disobedience, selfishness yet His love provides strength, abundant and eternal life.
Even when we go astray, He still doesn't stop loving us, His always waiting for us to respond to His love and forgiveness. His love is beyond any human comprehension and can never be measured
And someone might ask " why does He love me so much?" The whole essence of God is love, His identity is love, His nature is love. He demonstrates this by loving us and lavishing it on us even those who doesn't love Him back, those who fight against Him, those who call Him all manner of names.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Remember, He wanted a personal & loving relationship with us? God's love is one on one, it's a personal thing. He knows everyone of us by name even before we were born.
Sometimes, we might feel less loved by God and wonder why He loves others more than the way He loves you. This is not true, the devil is only playing with your mind. The devil wants you to believe this lie and lure you over to his Kingdom. God does not love anyone less. His love is big enough for everyone of us.
In conclusion
Do you feel unloved? Why not turn to God who can never love you less for who you are. His arms are wide open waiting for you to come into His warm embrace. It's okay to pour out all your tears and emotions to Him.

God's love is incomparable to the human kind of love.
1 Corinthians 13 nicely describe the love of God.
Charity being the principal word in this text, means love. And we know that God is love. So, one can reread this again, but this time God occupying the place of charity.
