Source that generates life!

Nearly half of the world's population will live in areas of water stress and 1.8 billion people will suffer from water shortages in 2025. Today, people in the world already suffer from a lack of drinking water.

Only one side, I believe in a God who is powerful and absolutely sovereign over EVERY situation, but he gave me and that this land to administer (Genesis 2:15). However, also because of our many excesses, this water situation is getting worse every day.

Speaking on that, what a fantastic thing is water, right?

It seems that wherever we look, there she is (directly or indirectly) present. Our body even, even, is composed of 70% water, according to studies.

Perhaps, the time we most feel its lack is when our mouth dries and we run to the fridge behind that precious treasure. But we also run from it, when they fall in the form of rain and we are helpless. We want her together to bathe. Let's tremble with fear of them in the floods. They are our companions in the form of tears; and these, of pains, of tears, of joy, of suffering, of laughter. In the runoff of the face in the work; in the fear, in the anguish, in the chill ... there she is present.

She is able to expose in us a problem of perception: when she falls from the sky, we speak that "the day is ugly"; But in the backlands, that would be a beautiful day. The heavy clouds that carry them hide the Sun. But it does not mean that there are no more sunny days; only that this one (for a brief period of time) is concealed; as much as, the many heavy clouds in our life.

In the Bible it is a symbol of the Word of God in its action of cleansing, regeneration and the generation of a new life in Christ (Eph 5:26 / Mark 1: 2-4 / John 3: 5 and 15: 3 / Titus 3: 5/1 Peter 1:23 and 03:21). The priests, in the first testament, before starting any sacrifice, needed to wash themselves with water, as a symbol of purification. Already in the Second Testament, John the Baptist baptized with water and preached a baptism of repentance (Mark 1: 2-4). God knows exactly where to wash. He alone knows the thirst that each one of us feels and only He can kill this thirst (John 4: 13,14 / John 7: 38,39).

The water while washing, clean. Clean, but also exposes dirt. Sometimes, imperceptible to naked eyes. Sometimes, the dirt that does not want to be clean. Dirty encrusted now for self-righteousness, now for desires of the flesh, pray for a "religious curriculum", sometimes for a wash of rotten water. Some waters that fall from our eyes, are like serums treat us; since we understand that the "Physician of doctors" is the one behind the cure of our illnesses.

Let the sources where you take your waters, be in a river of living water. May all your sources be in Him.
