Web Standards- Lists

in #steembloggers7 years ago

Today, in Web Standards I will read and review Chapter 4- Lists. This chapter is 16 pages long.

I have become familiar with the basics of lists. I use the unordered list quite often. I am not familiar with the definition list.
In this chapter we will learn more about an ordered list, unordered list and definition list. I think the terms are self-explanatory.
On Steemit use the ul tag for unordered lists and use the ol tag for ordered lists. That is the parent tag for making a list. The children tag for ul and ol are the same. It is the li tag.
It doesn’t seem like the dl tag, dt and dd tag work on Steemit for the definition list. However, the breaking line can help create a definition list along with the use of some other tags.
