Featured On Friday's: Generously Giving Steem Basic Income (SBI) Away

Hello Steemian Friends,

We hope everyone had a great week and is looking forward to the weekend! Any cool plans?

Today, we are feeling quite generous and we thought we would giveaway 3 Steem Basic Income shares to 3 followers who have helped us grow on Steemit over these past four months. We wouldn't be where we are now without their help or guidance. Yes, there are loads of other Steemians that we follow and/or follow us that have helped us and we wish that we could just reward everyone, but we're not exactly rolling in Steem at the moment. This will not be the one and only time we will do this type of post. We hope that in time we can give back to the community and have a few more posts like this. Yet, we are singling out these three Steemians as they have been dear to us.

Who Are The Lucky Three?

It was hard, but these three stood out for us:

• @world-travel-pro - Dan is currently back in the U.S. after spending over 10 weeks exploring South America, where his trip has taken him from Galapagos Islands in Ecuador to Buenos Aires in Argentina. Dan is no stranger to travel and he has been travelling the world for the past eleven years and has become well-known on Steemit for his travelling expertise. He would stretch his budget of $1,000 over a month or two whilst we would probably blow it in a week. He has been supporting our content and we have been supporting his since our first month on this platform. We have so much in common and only time will tell before we meet up in real life! This is just a little token of our gratitude to him! :)

• @intrepidsurfer - We have been in touch with him for about a month as we are big supporters of his Steem Forest Initiative. He has a weekly contest where he gives away SBDs to anyone who plants a tree in a forest. Whoever does this and makes a post about it will share the pool of SBDs on offer that week. The post needs a photo and proof of validation to prove that you planted the tree that week and it's not some old photo from your GAP year or volunteer days. He is actively trying to use Steemit to better the society we live in. He is a community builder/developer and although he might live in a remote part of Northern Peru, he has the powerful tool of the Internet to spread his desire and passion to save the world and create a better future for all! This share is something small, but hopefully it will help towards your cause.

• @for91days - Jurgen and Mike are avid travelers, but they travel in their own unique way! They did not pick the name 'For 91 Days' because they thought it sounded cool (which it does); they picked it because it is what they do. They travel to a chosen destination and stay there for 91 days and during their stay they create 91 articles for their blog. Those articles will eventually turn into an e-Book for sale. Being from Germany and America, they fell in love with Valencia (Spain) so much, that they decided to call the 'City of Joy' their home when they are not on one of their 91 Days trip. Their last 91 days trip was to Lisbon, in which we have been to multiple times as Becca was brought up in Portugal and Sam has had the chance to see Lisbon upon passing through to Becca's hometown. Naturally, we took a liking to their posts about the capital and we became informed about places that we wouldn't have known of otherwise. Yet, this is not the main reason why we're giving away one share to them. No, we're giving them a share as they along with @jpphotography, @rimicane and @adonisabril started the Steemit Travellers Discord Channel. They created this space for Steemians who love to chat, post and breathe about traveling. It has become a space where we can truly talk to any member on the channel and there will always be something in common to talk about. We were active on this channel, but have somewhat become quiet. However, we hope to change this. More recently, they have created the #travelfeed tag that helps them identify and upvote great quality travel posts! We just want to extend a thank you for creating such a great Discord server and we will always support the #travelfeed posts as long as we're on Steemit.

We hope to give out more 'shares' to other followers in the future, but we have a target in mind to reach first before we can truly be generous with our Steem. We hope to engage more and more on Steemit and other Steem based platforms, so that we can all grow this ecosystem together!
