Steemit Newbies Steembasicincome Sponsorship Program
Steemit can be a difficult place to start out on these days I'm told, unless you know someone who has been on the platform for a long time or spend some money on a little Steem Power. Getting a post to pay out at all can be a difficult task. I won't even try to go into details of what is wrong with steemit, I don't think I have a clue anyways, instead I will try and help do something about it. We are going to try this every day for 30 days, giving out 3 or more sponsorships into steembasicincome.
@steembasicincome is a social experiment implementing a voting bot system that you can get sponsored shares into. In the comments below tell me how having a steembasicincome would help you. At least three will be selected for enrollment in steembasicincome. You can be selected more than once but preference will be given to unsponsored applicants.

Share with us your reasons for being on the platform, explain your plights. Not everyone will be selected everyday, so show me that you really want it. I was just recently reminded by a couple of fellow Steemians, @moderndayhippie and @gillianpearce about some of the fundamental reasons I started and I continue to work in the realm of #steemit. The mystical thing about the universe is that it reaches out to you even when you are being hard-headed. The first thing I was reminded of was my desire to want to help others. My friend @moderndayhippie stated in a comment to on of my posts the following:

In a different post, @gillianpearce recorded a vlog recounting her brush with fate and allowing herself to flow with life and fate instead of trying to force issues and circumstances. I needed to hear this as well.
So, additional shares of #steembasicincome would be beneficial in both aspects. It would allow me to attempt to inspire the uninspired and to let fate have a more active roll in my creative process so I produce what I am meant to produce as opposed to forcing topics that feel clunky and stiff. This is not my entry because I've just joined steemit and don't have much content posted yet. I love the concept here and I don't want to lose this place for when I am ready to participate. There's a bit of a learning curve here. I'm trying to educate myself as much as I can on how to be an asset to this community.
I shared this in the platforms discord. Hopefully it gets some more people to see this. I really like that you are doing this to support those who are really trying. Hopefully that will attract some more people onto this post.

This is a great opportunity and I'm surprised that this post doesn't have a dozen reactions. But, for me, I definitely want to jump in on it! Why I am on Steemit? I can say the usual answer, "because it's an amazing platform where people care for each other and where I have seen the most wonderful things happen in the short time I'm here, (I joined in december 2017), and I wouldn't lie a bit when I say that. But the truth is also that I've come to steemit because of the opportunity to earn some money just by writing. I simply have no income right now due to the loss of my job three years ago! My partner works his butt off, has to go to work on the scooter because we can no longer pay for a car. He comes home in a cold house because we do not have enough money to be able to heat the house normally and well. I apply for every job that I think I can do, but got rejected everywhere. So the reality is that I came to Steemit to earn some money with writing. And I do not make myself easy. I give very valuable information about photography. Pay a lot of attention to my posts, place nice pictures, and yes it hurts when you see that some people get $ 400 for one picture ... and my picture might get $ 0.01. That hurts, it takes effort not to get demotivated ... and I wonder what I have to do to be seen anyway.
But despite all that remains, I find Steemit a great platform, and I have seen the most amazing ideas emerge. I have also seen that there are indeed people who care about other people, of whom the Steembasicincome is a great example. And that means that I still get heated up every day from the inside when I see the posts that appear on Steemit and the opportunities offered here. I really hope to be able to participate. Yes ofcourse I hope to get some money here, but I also want to be part of the steemit community, and do something for someone else who needs it.
