Steem Basic Income Update #2: The Income Strikes Back

Short Post! ^_^

Having seen continued excellent results from my initial investments in the project, combined with satisfactory results from the second batch of sponsorships, it's time to unveil the next recipients of Steem Basic Income. Drum roll please...?

First out of the hat, we have:

• @rarebooksleuth! As an unapologetic book lover, I can't get over how much absolute treasure this wonderful Steemian uncovers in the world. First editions, inscribed editions, limited releases, international printings...this guy's got a collection that would make the Library of Congress jealous. He regularly shares information about the books in his collection, how he acquired them, and tidbits of trivia about each particular edition, along with gorgeous photography showing off the artistry of the printed word in all its beauty and majesty. If you're a bibliophile and you aren't following him, you need to fix that.

Moving right along, it's time for you to meet:

It won't come as any surprise to him as he already sussed out his sponsorship earlier in the week, but much like myself, @cryplectibles, and @blewitt, he loves some comic books, and since comic culture on Steemit is woefully inadequate given the size of the hobby, boosting him up is an easy and obvious way to grow the community's influence. Much like @rarebooksleuth above, the stuff in this guy's collection is mind-blowing (I mean, Amazing Fantasy #15 signed by Stan Lee?! Shut the front door!)

If you want to get involved in the Steem Basic Income project, send 1 Steem to @steembasicincome with the name of the Steemian you want to sponsor (including the @ symbol) in the Memo field. Doing so will enroll that person in SBI with a single share, and earn you a share as well. More shares = more value, and more value = higher upvotes on every post you make. While a single share currently does not give very much value, every little bit helps, right? So before buying an upvote from a bot, consider instead spending that Steem on the community to boost the people whose content you enjoy consuming, and enjoy bigger gains than the short-term value of that bot vote on a single post.

If you want to earn additional shares without spending Steem, follow and upvote posts from @steembasicincome. This costs you nothing, and not only boosts your bottom line but also helps the program keep up with funding additional enrollments. It's a win/win all around. The SBI account also resteems contests where SBI shares are awarded as prizes--contests you can enter, and potentially win, with no out-of-pocket expenses.
