Hello dear steemians!!!
I'm still in a hurdle recovering financially from the laptop mishap I had previous weeks, I should be receiving the newer one next weekend 😀 which should allow me to start doing digital art and work again as freelance designer without constant performance hiccups.
Like last contest 50% of the SBD will be for the prizes, 30% for 1ts place and 10% for 2nd and 3rd place each, there won't be @steembasicincome shares this time as I cannot currently afford them, unless that changes before next weekend or someone else volunteers to sponsor them.
Theme
This contest theme will be the Eyes, windows to the Soul
Extract from Psychology Today:
People often call eyes the windows to the soul. But what exactly do we see when we gaze into the eyes of another person? In fact, the eyes do provide lots of information about another person’s emotional state.
When people are sad or worried, they furrow their brow, which makes the eyes look smaller. Yet when people are cheerful, we correctly call them “bright eyed.” That’s because people raise their eyebrows when they’re happy, making the eyes look bigger and brighter.
For the contest, you can make anything that relates to this phrase of "the eyes are the windows to the soul", exploit your imagination and creativeness as much as you want. 😉

Well I haven't got more than 5SBD in upvotes, even using multiple contest promotion posts.
That leaves the prize quite low TBH, I which I could give 5SBD as 1st prize at least, let's see how this one turns out.
One thing you might use is bidding boys to help the reward pool be bigger , that's what I've been trying to do.
I don't know, I've been leaning more and more toward the position that bid bots are actually ruining steemit, quality content doesn't matter with bid bots, you just need resources to gamble on them...and be lucky enough so it upvotes your post with a high value so you don't end up loosing...
They came into existence with the pretext of providing a way to break the monopoly of old users with high SP only upvoting within themselves but in in the process created another evil making it even harder for newcomers unless they happen to have enough money to spend in the gamble.
that's true, it does affect how steemit works, making quality less important, deviating from main concept. I do think that as long as you feel you're making quality content and you're supporting a community is fair to use them while dev fixes this isse and figure out a better way to run steemit
