Tradition ginger bread men
Gingerbread brought to you from the 15th century, the first record of figure shaped was in 16th century by the court of Elizabeth 1 of England who presented them to her important guests
Ingredients
12oz plain flour
1tsp bicarb
2tsp ginger
1tsp cinnamon
4oz butter
60z soft brown sugar
1 free range egg
4 table spoons of golden syrup
Method
mix all together until a firm dough
Cool for 20 mins
roll out to 1/4 in thick and use cookie shapes to get your required shape
bake on gas mark 4 or 180 deg for 15 mins

hmm yummy, I have tasted gingerbread few times, they are very tasty indeed. If Queen served it for special guest, guess this one is special for Steem users :)
