STEEM IS THE ADVERTISING BLOCKCHAIN
The real genius here is, STEEM Blockchain has cross pollination between Investors/Stake holders, Advertisers, Developers and Consumers.
It's a radical shift from the traditional business models.
This blurring of the lines creates a (w)holistic synergy amongst participants in the ecosystem.
The real beauty of cross pollination is "Incentivization."
By structurally aligning the interests of all participants in an amicable way - we have a fruitful harvest as a result of effectively cross pollinating the networking effects.
In essence,
An investor/Stake Holder....is also a consumer and advertiser...and possibly a developer.
By participating in the network as a consumer....you become an investor and a stake holder. You have the opportunity to become a developer if you are so inclined to do so. There's actually a lot of supportive documents and materials to help you become a developer if you are interested in creating applications connected to the Steem Blockchain. Man - the possibilities are many.
Compare this new approach to a structure like google or facebook.....where all the parties involves are separated...and it's a bit of a rigamarole ...where the advertiser is making promises based on algo's...and the consumer is told things based on algo's...and the business many is made promises based on algo's....and the company is doing all the telling....meanwhile....really just trying to middle man tell you the best thing possible...like a game of broken telephone. I predict we see a lot of people questioning the facebook and google as viable advertising models. I mean, shit...we have here a way in which you can really incentivize engagement...can actually get users of the products to word of mouth advertise with post promotion.
It's all about working together....creating ways in which we can all benefit from sharing the resources here.

I have no idea where this comment is going, but for fun let's do a little math and see if it ends up making any sense.
Right now, let's say Steem is worth $2.50. My account with 1000 SP has a vote worth 0.25SBD when I vote 100%. With $10 Steem, my vote becomes worth $1.00SBD...and $10.00SBD if the Steem price makes it to $100USD.
What would that mean?
New users that would want to get into the platform would have to put in 20-30x the investment to have the same voting power as someone that invested a year or 2 ago.
Now my question is, will that deter people from wanting to get involved? Too much investment for too little influence? At what Steem price will it potentially have a negative effect on getting people to invest in and use Steemit?

I consider myself unknowingly all of those things lol. I will say that advertising on facebook is different because here we get our money back. Imagine if google and facebook did that! I like steemit for business, especially local business because of the domain value of steemit.com
exactly.....steemit....is the platform for fundraising...whatever your business/company/project/initiative is. The platform also functions as a recruitment vehicle...a way to crowd source talent. It's the epitome of a creative, collaborative, open source platform for Public Benefit. Steem is a "utility token" with a Global Utility - as the Steem blockchain protocol powers a global communications network...that is incredibly valuable...and has an exponential growth curve!
The future is indeed bright - it's gonna be a hot hot summer - haha

Facebook displays brainwashing adverts just to get their own profit and leave the consumers to suffer testing out the prouducts. The steemit platform is the best. HOW? it helps develop good writing and reading skills, good interpersonal communication skills and host of many more with an added advantage of earning.

haha - yes it sure does. It's funny because that price tag is actually capable of being way bigger...it's just almost difficult to comprehend at this point because we start to get into our exponential potential :).....the power of the group that is both creative and collaborative - the amount of networking connections is incredible. As are the effects and overall benefits.
The paradigm shift is in going from the zero sum competition market monopoly model of insured death....to Distributed Networking open source projects for mutual benefit for insured success and financial well being :)
