I have no idea where this comment is going, but for fun let's do a little math and see if it ends up making any sense.

Right now, let's say Steem is worth $2.50. My account with 1000 SP has a vote worth 0.25SBD when I vote 100%. With $10 Steem, my vote becomes worth $1.00SBD...and $10.00SBD if the Steem price makes it to $100USD.

What would that mean?

New users that would want to get into the platform would have to put in 20-30x the investment to have the same voting power as someone that invested a year or 2 ago.

Now my question is, will that deter people from wanting to get involved? Too much investment for too little influence? At what Steem price will it potentially have a negative effect on getting people to invest in and use Steemit?
