I upvoted because of course steemit is for everyone. But always remember that just because steemit is for everyone doesn't mean we have to agree with the framing of your post.

If that % of ANY society's people were for practicing sharia law (and more importantly...willing to FORCE ME AND MY FAMILY to practice sharia), I would not want them in my country of residence. I do not care at all about color of skin because it is absolutely ridiculous. However, most people will call me racist despite this fact simply because I am white.
So all posts like this do are actually to fuel the flames of "racism" by giving it credence it does not deserve.

Muslims aren't a "race" but are made up of people from just about every race. So what you are objecting to cannot rightly be called "racist propaganda". Clear thinking is called for in this situation, and careful use of language.
It's easy to discriminate or hate on groups when you forget they are human beings with a mother and father and they breathe the same air as us. we need to learn to share this planet and to hate because you are hated will never bring peace.

Upvoted for the "Steemit is for everyone" - I won't downvote the fear mongering. It's up to Steemit to define the limits of hate speech. I'll probably stop discussing soon, because my arguments are ignored in the usual way, and the exaggerations and false claims just continue, but I don't think that kind of posts has a great influence on others anyway. People can think for themselves, and either see the flaws in the arguments or follow them anyway and can't be convinced, because they don't care what others think.
