Hello everybody!

This will be the second post that's part of my SteemSTEM PROMO where I'm promoting STEEM Blockchain, Steem science community and where I'm helping @steemstem team with insights of my page and group that are counting more than 30k followers.

The first post that was part of SteemSTEM PROMO was this post on what is STEEM Blockchain and Steemit. It is written for newcomers and people who are still new on Steemit.

My aim with these posts is to bring people on STEEM Blockchain and to help them to start their journey easier. I don't want them to waste time like me at the beginning so I hope that this post will be helpful to them and anyone who is still not familiar with some apps and communities.

This post will also be retwitted and shared on Facebook and hopefully, bring STEEM closer to people!

If you're new on Steemit/Busy/Steempeak/... or you're still not on this Blockchain, I want to help you and give you a few tips with apps and everything that can help you more on your beginnings. I know blockchain technology can be harsh to people who are not tech people and who still don't understand how this works, just like I didn't when I started.

I also know that without the help of some communities and people, I wouldn't be close as I am here today. That's the reason why this blockchain is something more than some code and crypto. It's about real people and great communities that are working their ass off to bring this blockchain to the moon, where it's supposed to be.

So, this post will be my little thanks to everybody that helped me and that are still helping me. I'm trying to give back as much as I can, just like you did when I was new here and like you're still doing it hard even tho' we're in this crazy bear markets time. RESPECT!

For start, download DISCORD app. This is an essential app you need to have to connect with more people and communities. This is where you can ask questions about anything. I'm sure that somebody will help you. If you want to ask me questions, I can help you also! Just contact me on Discord - Mr. Spacely [whack.science] #7598. Don't hesitate to ask anything, anyone. People know how it was in the beginnings and will help you with pleasure. There are so many great people and communities here that I'm sure you're going to find your home.

Other than Steemit, there are other social platforms built on STEEM Blockchain that will make your experience much better. You can check out Steempeak, eSteem, Busy, Partiko as a mobile app, ... You can probably check more but these are the ones I know and I recommend to check to see which one fits you the best.

Another essential app, built with ♥ by @steemchiller, is SteemWorld. This app will give you valuable informations about your account. You can check it here, but you need to delete my username and put yours, like this ---> https://steemworld.org/@username. You simply need this app to monitor your voting power, delegations, incoming rewards and anything you need.

If you want to upvote your favorite authors and get more curation rewards, you can use SteemAuto. This app lets you set votes on whoever you want to upvote by setting time when you want to vote on that post, how many times a day and a few other things. I'm not recommending this that much. You should manually upvote always! Read people's content and when you're really sure you want to upvote that author, then use this app.

There are a few communities you want to be part of as a beginner such as Peace, Abundance, Liberty. This is one of the biggest Steem communities on Discord and is surely going to help you a lot.

MSP is a community resource for new or small Steemit accounts. We provide a place to meet people, listen to a 24/7 streaming radio station staffed by Steemians, chat and network based on interests or location, help with informal services like proofreading or formatting, and have a community account for a modest boost to help your posts get rolling!

Don't forget that by registering there, you can get upvotes on your post from their bot every 30 hours. Don't forget that you need to post original good quality content :)

Another great community on Discord is The Ramble. If you think you're writing interesting posts, feel free to join here and catch Pimp Your Post Thursday's and promote your post to other Steemians.

Minnow Power provides you with GinaBot. She will be your darling companion on your STEEM journey. You can register and set a lot of settings to Gina and she will notify you about almost anything you want. She will appear as a DM (direct message) in your Discord notifying you about things you told her to. This is also an essential thing to set up.

There are a lot of other communities and apps that can help you a lot. I didn't want to clog you with info a lot so this will be more than enough to have a good start. Don't hesitate to ask anything or add few apps in the comments below.
