    My understanding is that the new logo is only for the Steemit blogging platform. The Steem logo will remain unchanged. It will continue to be the logo for the Steem blockchain and STEEM currency. More information can be found here: The New Steemit Logo is Here!

    Yes this is correct - the use of the 'old' logo will continue as the logo for the steem blockchain, which is different than the flagship product/website steemit.
