Give this guy support to join Steemit. Steemit and LBRY are calling to this guy
PsychedSubstance is a youtube channel I have followed for some time. This guy makes videos for harm reduction purposes around psychedelic substances and has many informative and personal exprience videos regarding psychedelic substances. He also has as another channel to discuss other topics like existential philosophies like if we are in a simulation, overcoming social anxiety, and other not so substance related topics.
He has been facing resistance with youtube monetization and now youtube is engaging in shadow banning like actions against him. This hurts his financial income from the channel to continue making his content and I would like to see him remain able to continue this. I am pretty sure the Steemit community would appreciate his content and he would gain extra audience through Steemit as well as income. It would also be great if we can help him get set up with LBRY.io once that is launched since it is perfect for uncensored media content.
If people can please check out his channel and comment for him to join Steemit and look at this post it would be appreciated. Upvote this post if you support his content. If he joins Steemit I will gladly send him all the earnings that I made from this post.

It seems that would be the end of YouTube. Well, we would need to have a good search. I'm not sure how likely that is.
The censor ship of YouTube is a real problem, and so are the comments. Both of these issues seem to have been dealt with at the core of the respective Steemit and LBRY systems.
Lots of Youtube shenanigans, have seen Dutchsinse' Youtube channel attacked many times, I know he has added a second site (forget which) to protect his feed. Hope you are successful in doing the same for your friend.
