I don't think Poloniex delisting Steem is that big of deal
Poloniex delisted Steem and many are claiming it is terrible news
I really don't think it is that big of news for a couple reasons.
The first being that the steem volume on Poloniex had been tiny and getting smaller and smaller every month.
Which is also probably why it is being delisted in the first place.
Secondly, Poloniex in general seems to be headed the wrong direction overall.

It is the 69th Exchange by adjusted volume in the world, even lower with reported volumes.
It has been sliding for the last 3 years.
If Poloniex continues down this path it may not be in business a couple years from now anyways.
If that is the case it won't matter that steem got delisted as we were gonna lose the market eventually anyways.
While this news isn't bullish in the least bit, I also don't think it is terribly bad either.
