yep, exactly! i tell you, i was here since august and only checked the promoted tab once, when i wrote this post. there are many questions, i wonder where to pose them to get the answers and for the benefit of a post, i end up preferring to write a post.
We should take a page out of YouTube's "Trending" page, and show promoted content as the index page and subscribed feed as the alt tab.
We could also experiment with alternative views for promoted content, imagine the million dollar web page except the image is either your account avatar or the thread thumbnail, the link goes to your post and the size of the link matches your promoted/burned SBD value.

Probably best to talk during popular crypto podcasts such as beyondbitcoin or the steemit podcasts. Could also raise a github issue?
