We need to act now! -- or is it too late ?steemCreated with Sketch.

Since the split of hive from our awesome ecosystem , What are we expecting from Steem now? When my team were first introduced to steem back in 2018 we said "Wow what a beautuful ecosystem it is" , but are we still in the same page?

Steem has been a disaster these days an example can be seen in one of my post as we where someone is spamming in the comment.

Thanks to few good members of the steem community who flagged it .

I can see @steemzzang @ahnpeter flagging it . We do have good people around, at least some of them . Since steemcleaners has left its operations in the steem ecosystem . We think it has already been late that we need to act.

Before its too late, before steem shrinks lets do something to save us.

We are working on developing a bot that learns by itself. An intelligent node JS application that tracks down, bid based purchases of votes, self voting on non deserving posts and comments, character count based flagging and many more.

We want to call everyone to join this alliance and help us fight against what's making steem "Worlds worst playground"

I would call every top witness to delegate @steem-keeper or @steem-supporter some SP so that we can make this a successfull alliance. (We are currently voting our findings with 1% upvote for research purposes only)

We will also do manual research with bunch of participants who shall be rewarded accordingly.

I am for going after plagiarism, but to go after people self voting, or if they even buy votes is a bit of a stretch.

as i said ---- flagging happens after validation of different abusive patterns only --- we discussed this is discord

Even Facebook haven't found a way to automate this. All this was done manually before the split and I think it has to be done that way with the bot used as a helper. I have mostly moved to hive as none of the people I followed has stayed here, but I have been part of the effort to battle abuse since 2016.

Thats correct, finding and tackling abusers is still a job for human brains. The risk of destroying someone who is walking the tin line is too big if you just use algorithms.
Hope you will find new friends here! #steem

Sad thing with this split is that it makes it cumbersome to do both networks and I really don't want to leave people behind, but it is time consuming to visit many medias, and I am also present on some of the non-monetary federated hippie networks. That's where I started.

Downvoting to keep a chain "clean" is important. Everyone should keep their eyes open and use their power. But people rarely do it.

An example: None of us were spared the flood of comments from overall-servant and their minions. Most people just thought "Well, the reputation is already low" and didn't look further - and missed the blatant self voting happening there. And not the kind where you vote your own post (hopefully we all find our own posts vote worthy) - these copy/paste comments were voted with full votes from an account worth several thousand SP.

So, whether you are a small fish or a big whale, keep your eyes open and use your down votes :)

It is also a problem that you will get involved in endless downvote wars. Hard to be a small fish and downvote a big whale. Again and again it has been proven that no one is to small to be dealt some punishment from the whales. I once made a joke drawing about the vote buying and the piece of Norwegian dog shit called Fyrstiken went completely crazy on me. Only by organizing can these things get done properly.
