But this is different to STEEM because STEEM is not dealing with investment and exchange alone but it also deals with the user posting, upvoting, commenting, buying of STEEM and steempower.
This is really helping STEEM in this crypto currency platform.
In the crypto currency platform STEEM is the second crypto currency in the world and Bitcoin first.

    How do you see that Steem has overshadowed Ripple? Ripple stands at #3 on the list of over 2500 cryptocurrencies, and Steem is at #83. Unfortunately, Steem has nothing going for it compared to Ripple, which is one of the main reasons why Steem almost shut down a short time ago, laying off 70% of its workforce in the process. The only thing Steem has going for it is SteemIt, and that is not a sustainable business model. You can't just pay out money without taking in revenue, and SteemIt has no significant source of revenue. The Whales have made a lot of money off of the Minnows here on SteemIt, and one by one, are leaving and taking their money with them. What will be left is just a lot of minnows spending their time posting and commenting for a few pennies a week, if that.
