Who is the SportsPodium Target Market?

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed!

Who are we targeting and why they will use it

Our target market is aimed at all sporting discipline participants, clubs, schools, coaches, administrators, as well as professionals like doctors, physiotherapists and supporters as service providers to the sporting industry. With the millennial generation surpassing the Baby Boomers as the largest generation alive, the social media generation combined with the millennials generally marked as the “Always On” generation with their extensive use of digital communications, media, and technologies, there is a continuous and comfortable engagement and sharing of information on social media.

The solution will provide the following benefits to the sporting community:

● Implement a sustainable solution based on merit which will promote transformation at grass root level, and will carry through into the senior and professional levels.

● Improve Community Relations - Promote different sports disciplines in the homes of many and ultimately expose players from all walks of life to the relevant sporting bodies.

● Encourage manageable corporate social investment into sports facilities and the technology infrastructure. Create a future for many children. Many young talents identified through this project will go on to make a living from sport. The ripple effect in terms of upliftment is enormous.

● Provide a social communication platform / forum for participants, coaches and administrators to address their needs and share ideas and thoughts.

● Provide and integrate a support and empowerment platform for coaches and administrators on a multitude of sporting disciplines encouraging knowledge sharing and management

● Provide an education and training platform for the empowerment of the human resource base

● Provide a basis and a communication platform for volunteers to adequately support the international sporting system

● Provide a governance platform in sport through an alignment of the unstructured data into more structured usable data.

● Provide a platform to protect the rights and interests of talented athletes under the age of 18, but which will incorporate, involve and reach all sports people.

In order to build an integrated sports community, there are key classes of participants, each with their own driving rationale for joining and using the platform, and each deriving specific benefit from such usage.

Sports people* (Our community) wants to:

  1. Share their achievements not just for bragging rights, but also being able to monetise these.
  2. Track / keep record of their achievements, performances and statistics (The content)
  3. Be identified as talent to build a sporting career or reach the best possible level their talent will allow.
  4. Be able to compare their performance and statistics to roll models.
  5. Engage with other sports people and the industry to get tips, know how and information from a trusted community.
  6. Be able to show of their achievements.
    *Includes coaching staff and players, and is the heart of our community.

Clubs administration and management **

  1. Identify, recruit and manage talent
  2. Build strong sports bodies with the best available talent
  3. Be able to monetize their talent and achievements through various new ways
  4. Record, track and present results and achievements
  5. Use a comprehensive portal to share information, results, achievements and structures.
  6. Gather significant statistics about their “constituency” and community.
    ** Including clubs, schools, representative teams, governing bodies, scouts and agents.

Supporters and fans

  1. Track follow upcoming talent
  2. Access to teams, athletes performances and sports records and information
  3. Share information, stories, content (video and pictures)
  4. Bragging about results and achievements

Sports retailers and services

  1. Advertise products and services to a targeted and interested community on a global and/or sub community or local level.
  2. Sell products and services directly to the community through our crypto mall
  3. Access to market information and demographics
  4. Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities.

As the blockchain increases trust and transparency across value chains, organisations and individuals will collaborate and compete in ways that can't yet be foreseen. This is the potential that SportsPodium will deliver on. We love comments and questions.

You are very right my friend .. Failure is sign that you are trying so we have to continue follow our dreams , until it get reality no matter how much we fail..

Am I incorrect in assuming this could also be an incredible opportunity for a new age of sports recruiter? With such a community, it would be a great way for recruiters to prove themselves and earn the attention of various organizations.

Or am I misunderstanding this? I hope not, because I feel like this could be a great opportunity for me to combine my strengths and unify them into a new career.

Hey @mythocurrency, you are reading well between the lines :) but there is much more to it and all will be revealed over the next few weeks.

The world of sports recruitment is a little bit of a hit an miss affair with lots of shenanigans. So yes, this could be seen as a bit of a new age for sports recruiters I presume. I do not believe that empirical observation will ever be replaced, but imagine if you can get a far broader picture of the true spread of talent. In the end though it is the sports people themselves that need to get the greatest reward for their effort!
