Steem Rewards Payout Changes - we now get Steem as well as SBD and SP!
You may have noticed recently that your rewards went from:
STEEM POWER/SBD
to
STEEM POWER / SBD / STEEM

I hope it turns out to be a good thing.
Basically, SBD represents debt which is only allowed to rise to 10%. When the value of Steem gets too low or drops too fast, to avoid issuing too much debt, some rewards are issued as steem instead of SBD. It will go back to normal if/when steem rises again. There won’t be announcements of changes because this fluctuation has always been built in to the payout structure. Back in the days when Steem was only .10 there was a long stretch when no SBD were generated at all. It’s a dynamic factor that will ebb and flow with changes in price & supply.
