What is SteemWatcher
Steem Watcher is an OpenSource project in Python to enable easy monitoring of actions performed on Steem related to a user and selected keywords, with alerts over Telegram.
Any other alert notification type is easy to add to the code if wished by anyone willing to use something else.
To use the script you need a machine running Python as well as the SteemPy Python software.

Performance
I've used the script to monitor my account since a few weeks, and it's been running very stable. I've ironed out a few kinks and added a few new functions. There are still a few more ideas I have that I can add to the codebase.
Latest Updates Includes
New Functions: Witness Votes, Proxy Votes
You can now enable alerts when someone votes for you as a proxy voter. Enable by adding ['proxy',30].
Another new function is witness votes. Since many users have another name on their witnesses, there is a new field called witness = ‘’, together with ['witness_vote',30]. The function should trigger alerts both on gain as well as lost votes.

A small change to enable lost and muted following from users.
Improved Data Handling for Cache
Just switching to a less strange way of handling the data.
Avoid notification about a comment if user has already been notified about mention
If a mention is triggered in a comment, there was also a double notification on both mention and comment.
Toggle On/Off for updated comments and mentions
If a comment or mention post is updated, you can filter it out by setting notify_on_updates = 0. Keep this to 1 to also receive notifications when someone edits a post.
Improved Alarm Notifications (less fuzzy)
Changed to a more standard text form to be more consistent.

Thanks for the nice information about the steemit uptrend. I never had seen your post but today I have clicked to read it, very nice advice friend.I want to ask is it better time to invest on steem or what? I know that I can't invest in bitcoin as it's Price is too high so what about steem. Please reply if you have time friend. Have a great time friend.
