Steem is indeed a great blockchain solution, and I believe that it has a bright future if it really becomes decentralized. Looking at the rewards distribution and the way Steemit inc. is running the platform I can see why many investors stay away.
The platform has a long way to go and needs to adapt very quickly, otherwise, something better will come along the way.
This is surely to happen particularly when EOS will become a fully functional blockchain. Disgruntled Steemians will move there and set their own empire.
